This place was an absolute prayer answered. It prevented 5 to 8 hours waiting in hospital when nobody spoke English . I was provided with an appointment within an hour and I was seen to within five minutes of arriving even though I was early. Importantly, an orthopaedic doctor was available to assess my ankle after a fall. Dr Gilles was professional, took the time to assess and explain the injury, understanding and knowledgeable, Kind and efficient. X-ray facilities available Which allowed prompt treatment. I wish I knew about this place before going to the first hospital, however so grateful that somebody pointed me in this direction. I had an absolutely wonderful experience at FirstMed Rome and cannot recommend them enough! As a tourist in Rome, unexpectedly needing medical care can be incredibly stressful, but the entire team made the experience easy, comfortable, and reassuring from beginning to end.

Everyone was welcoming, professional, and spoke excellent English. The doctor took the time to listen to our concerns, thoroughly explain the treatment, and make sure we understood everything. We never felt rushed and genuinely felt that we were in great hands.

What impressed us even more was the phenomenal aftercare and follow-up. Their care didn’t simply end when we walked out of the clinic. They made sure we understood exactly what to do afterward and followed up to see how things were progressing. That extra level of attention meant so much to us, especially while traveling in a foreign country.

If you’re visiting Rome and need medical attention, particularly as an English-speaking traveler, I highly recommend FirstMed. The professionalism, compassion, communication, aftercare, and follow-up were truly exceptional.

My daughter became ill while on day #2 of our cruise to Rome. Upon arriving to Rome, I happened to find  FirstMed Rome and took my daughter for consultation. I highly recommend FiratMed Rome for their outstanding service. Having to seek medical help while traveling abroad will make everybody a bit anxious, but this place put me at ease immediately. My very first face-to-face contact with Nisha and Aleksandra was A+ and they both answered all my questions. The clinic itself was spotless, modern, and equipped with the latest technology. Dr. Linda Iorvi was incredibly professional, walked me through her entire diagnosis of my daughter that truly puts a parent at ease. For someone from the USA, the fact that everybody seems to speak excellent English is a huge bonus. After the visit, they even offered to call a taxi for my family for a ride back to our hotel - absolutely amazing extra-care after the visit. I believe the fee was absolutely reasonable as well. If you are considering this clinic, do not hesitate to book! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
