Is insurance required for telemedicine appointments?
No, insurance is not required for online appointments. Telemedicine visits are offered at an affordable rate for direct out-of-pocket payments.
Insurance may be accepted for some telemedicine visits. Please contact our clinic to confirm eligibility.
I need a specialist not listed above. Can I still request a telemedicine appointment?
Please contact us to inquire about other specialities. Our team is happy to evaluate whether your concern is treatable via telemedicine.
Can I discuss more than one concern during my appointment?
Each consultation is dedicated to a single primary clinical concern.
Can I request a prescription renewal?
- If you are unsure whether your medication is eligible for a prescription renewal via telemedicine, please contact us via our 24/hour telephone assistance or via our contact page.
- Antiviral Covid-19 medication (paxlovid),
- Diabetes medications,
- ADHD medications (e.g. adderall, ritalin),
- Benzodiazepines (e.g. xanax, valium),
- Narcotic pain medications (e.g. oxycodone, codeine)
Digital Prescriptions
If the physician provides a prescription, it will be issued digitally:- While many pharmacies in Itay accept digital prescriptions, some may require a printed copy or even the original prescription. We recommend printing your prescription before going to the pharmacy.
- If you are unable to print the prescription, you may need to try more than one pharmacy. Please note that the acceptance of digital prescriptions is determined by the pharmacy and is outside the clinic’s control.
- If the medication requires an original prescription, the clinic can mail the prescription to you for an additional shipping fee determined by location and urgency.
Can I request a medical certificate via telemedicine?
Due to local regulations, consultations for medical certificates of any nature cannot be provided via Telemedicine. Including, but not limited to, a medical sports certificate, a fit-to-fly certificate, etc.

- Please note that evaluation for a medical sports certificate requires an in-person appointment with cardiology not general medicine.
Can you prescribe Paxlovid or an anti-viral for COVID-19?
Due to local regulations, prescribing Paxlovid or Covid-19 anti-viral medication is not available via telemedicine.
